Our Process is linked to Our Clients: We believe it is important to listen closely to our clients during the course of the project. We consider the personalities, the architecture, the environment and the time period when making decisions. In placing a high value on the client, we hope to make the process enjoyable, accessible and fun for everyone involved. I believe in livable and interesting interiors that are in tune to the architecture and the personalities of the people who inhabit the home.
About Laura: I love art and design and am particularly interested in how homes reflect the personalities of the inhabitants and the story they tell about the lives lived. I have an MFA in Interior Design from Florida State University and a Bachelor's degree in Art from Towson University. After graduation, I moved to New York City and worked for both a large architecture and design firm and a small, luxury residential design company. I found that commercial design was not as interesting to me as the more character driven world of residential design.
In 2005, my husband and I headed to Colorado in search of sunshine, mountains and adventure. I worked for another small, yet successful, interior design firm in Denver before starting my own business in 2011. I read fiction and decorating blogs, I camp and hike, I take photo's of my daughter and my pets (and my client's pets - see my Instagram), I draw and paint and I love to travel - through all of these things my love of design and art is present.
